I have self-published two books with another on the way soon. The first, A Fortnight in August, was a family memoir inspired by my siblings retelling of fond memories in our weekly zoom meet ups, during and since the covid pandemic. The second book: Blissfully Unaware, took me a long time! The third, Coffee and Cake, was quite the opposite, coming together relatively quickly.

Set in 1972, A Fortnight in August is a simple account that follows a large family of limited resources as they deal with loss, logistics, anticipation and bad weather, through humour and togetherness, during a summer holiday in a small seaside cottage in Cornwall, England.
Set in and around Boston and Cape Cod in the mid-nineties, Blissfully Unaware is a light-hearted tale about a conflicted Englishman with a secret, on an extended travel visa, and a list-making young woman on her own odyssey, as they navigate through careers, misunderstandings, and budding courtship.
Coffee and Cake is a comedy of deceit and greed between an active community of unscrupulous locals and the newest inhabitants of their village, set off by a cantankerous neighbour, who inadvertently hands them all an opportunity to benefit from his sudden fortuity, both good and bad.
