Entry for the make-a-mag contest. Submission included a fully designed magazine and details such as the mission of the publication, the audience, potential articles and collaborators.

Locavore will be a free quarterly, editorially critical magazine aimed at discovering and supporting the best local growers, farmers, chefs, brewers, makers, artisans, restaurants, and independent food shops within the community. Distribution will be in unexpected locations: neighborhood coffee shops, cafes, bookstores, local grocers, butchers, gastro pubs, bakeries, boutique hotels, and farm-to-table restaurants. It will be local to the reader's community and will be available as a licensing model for other regions. Essentially, a template to produce a local magazine with a national presence.
